Vở kịch “chứng minh trong sạch”
Hãy tưởng tượng thế này: Đang yên đang lành, có người gọi điện xưng là công an. Họ quát lớn, bảo giấy tờ tùy thân của bạn đang dính líu đến một đường dây buôn ma túy lớn.
Sau khi làm bạn hoảng sợ, họ ngọt nhạt xoa dịu: “Nếu bị oan, để chứng minh mình trong sạch, hãy gửi hết tiền vào số tài khoản này cho chúng tôi tạm giữ để điều tra. Xong xuôi sẽ trả lại”.
Chuyện này vô lý y hệt như việc có người lạ chạy vào bếp nhà bạn, bảo con dao thái thịt của bạn vừa gây án, rồi bắt bạn phải nộp hết tiền vàng cho họ giữ để… đi điều tra vậy! Nghe ở ngoài đời thì thấy buồn cười, nhưng qua điện thoại lúc đang hoảng loạn, rất nhiều người đã tin thật và ngoan ngoãn chuyển tiền.
Làm sao chúng giả được số điện thoại của công an?
Nhiều người thắc mắc: “Nhưng số điện thoại hiện lên trên màn hình rành rành là số của cơ quan công an cơ mà?”.
Kẻ gian bây giờ tinh vi lắm. Bạn cứ tưởng tượng giống như việc một quả cam thối rớt xuống bùn, nhưng kẻ gian lấy lên, lau sạch rồi dán cái tem “cam sạch, hàng xịn” lên vỏ vậy.
Bọn lừa đảo dùng các mánh khóe trên máy tính để “đeo mặt nạ” cho số điện thoại. Nhìn trên màn hình điện thoại của bạn thì thấy y hệt số của cơ quan nhà nước, nhưng người đang gọi ở đầu dây bên kia lại là bọn tội phạm. Cộng thêm giọng điệu đanh thép, dọa nạt, dùng những từ ngữ luật pháp nghe rất sợ, chúng làm bạn rối trí, không còn tỉnh táo để suy nghĩ đúng sai.

Hãy nhớ kỹ những nguyên tắc vàng sau đây để tự bảo vệ mình:
- KHÔNG làm việc qua điện thoại: Cơ quan công an, Tòa án thực sự KHÔNG BAO GIỜ làm việc, gửi giấy triệu tập hay đòi kiểm tra tiền bạc qua điện thoại hoặc mạng xã hội (như Zalo, Facebook). Nếu cần, họ sẽ gửi giấy mời bạn lên tận trụ sở đàng hoàng.
- KHÔNG chuyển tiền: Cơ quan nhà nước tuyệt đối không bao giờ yêu cầu người dân chuyển tiền vào bất kỳ số tài khoản cá nhân nào.
- CÚP MÁY NGAY: Khi có người lạ gọi đến tự xưng là công an, cán bộ… và bắt đầu hỏi về tiền bạc, thông tin ngân hàng, bạn hãy cúp máy ngay lập tức. Không cần nghe thêm, không cần giải thích hay đôi co.
Bà con mình dãi nắng dầm sương, làm lụng vất vả mới kiếm được đồng tiền, tuyệt đối đừng để bọn xấu dọa nạt mà lấy mất.

Imagine this: Out of the blue, someone calls claiming to be the police. They shout loudly, saying your identification documents are involved in a major drug trafficking ring.
After scaring you, they sweetly soothed: “If you are innocent, to prove your innocence, please send all your money to this account for us to temporarily hold for investigation. Once everything is settled, we will return it.“
This is as absurd as a stranger running into your kitchen, claiming your meat cleaver just committed a crime, and then forcing you to hand over all your money and gold for them to… investigate! Hearing it in real life sounds funny, but over the phone during a panic, many people believed it and obediently transferred money.
How did they fake the police’s phone number?
Many people wonder: “But the phone number displayed on the screen is clearly the police department’s number, isn’t it?“
The criminals nowadays are very sophisticated. Just imagine it like a rotten orange falling into the mud, but the crook picks it up, wipes it clean, and sticks a “clean, premium orange” label on the peel.
The scammers use tricks on the computer to “mask” the phone number. Looking at your phone screen, it appears to be the number of a government agency, but the person on the other end of the line is actually a criminal. Adding to that, their harsh, intimidating tone and the use of frightening legal jargon can confuse you, making it hard to think clearly and discern right from wrong.
SECRET TO KEEPING YOUR WALLET TIGHT:
Remember these golden rules to protect yourself:
- DO NOT work over the phone: The police and the court NEVER work, send summons, or demand money thru the phone or social media (like Zalo, Facebook). If necessary, they will send you an official invitation to their headquarters.
- DO NOT transfer money: Government agencies absolutely never ask citizens to transfer money to any personal bank account.
- HANG UP IMMEDIATELY: When a stranger calls claiming to be a police officer or an official… and starts asking about money or bank information, hang up immediately. No need to listen further, no need to explain or argue.
